Credit Manager – Home Loan, LAP, CV & CE | NBFC Chennai

Job Description:

Credit underwriting for a secured retail asset book covering home loan, loan against property, commercial vehicle and construction equipment. You appraise loan files, run financial statement analysis, assess borrower risk and take or recommend credit decisions within policy. 20 openings across Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Manager and Senior Manager grades. Assistant Manager to Manager at 5 to 10 years. Senior Manager grade for the more experienced band. Chennai based, any full time graduate.

Job Responsibility:

• Appraise home loan, LAP, CV and CE credit files
• Run financial statement analysis and assess borrower risk
• Take or recommend credit decisions within policy
• Manage deviations, credit notes and sanction conditions
• Hold turnaround time on the credit desk

Educational Requirements:

• Any full time graduation.
• Credit underwriting experience in secured retail lending.
• 5 to 10 years for Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager and Manager grades.
• Senior Manager grade for candidates above that band.

Experiences:

• Underwritten home loan and LAP files
• Handled commercial vehicle or construction equipment credit
• Run financial statement analysis on borrowers
• Managed deviations and sanction conditions

Main Duties:

• Appraise and decide credit files within policy.
• Keep credit quality and portfolio risk in check.
• Hold turnaround time on sanctions.
• Coordinate with sales and operations on file flow.
