AGM – HR Operations | NBFC Chennai

Job Description:

AGM level HR operations for a distributed multi branch network. You own payroll, the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to final settlement, the HRMS, and the service levels the branches are held to. India multi branch experience essential. Suited to someone who has owned payroll and the HRMS end to end for 10,000 plus employees, with a PG in HR, based in Chennai.

Job Responsibility:

• Own payroll processing and sign-off across the branch network
• Run the employee lifecycle from onboarding to full and final settlement
• Own the HRMS and drive data governance across all records
• Hold branch service levels on HR queries and transactions
• Manage attendance, transfers and statutory inputs at scale

Educational Requirements:

• 15 to 23 years in HR operations within BFSI or NBFC.
• Payroll and HRMS owned end to end for 10,000 plus employees.
• Full time PG in HR, MBA or PGDM or MSW.
• Based in Chennai, in office role.

Experiences:

• Run HR operations across a distributed multi branch network
• Led an HRMS implementation or migration at scale
• Signed off large monthly payroll as a named responsibility
• Managed onboarding, exits and settlements at volume

Main Duties:

• Deliver accurate on-time payroll every cycle.
• Keep the employee lifecycle and HRMS records audit ready.
• Hold the service levels the branches are measured against.
• Drive process improvement across HR operations.
