Job Description:
We are partnering with a growing NBFC to hire a Cluster Business Head for its Loan Against Property (LAP) vertical. The role owns six branches across the Panvel cluster, with Branch Managers reporting into this position. It calls for a leader who can drive aggressive growth while maintaining strong portfolio quality across multiple micro-markets.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop and execute sales strategy to achieve LAP business targets across the assigned cluster
- Drive business through DSAs, channel partners, and direct sourcing
- Lead, mentor, and set performance goals for a team of Branch Managers and Business Development Executives
- Build and maintain relationships with channel partners, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to credit policy, regulatory guidelines, and risk management practices
- Work closely with credit and risk teams to ensure smooth loan processing and disbursal
- Maintain portfolio quality and monitor early stress indicators across all branches
Educational Requirements:
- 8-12 years in sales, with 3-5 years specifically in Loan Against Property (LAP).
- Currently managing 4-5 branches, ready to scale to six.
- NBFC background mandatory; LAP product exposure at 18%+ ROI segment preferred.
- Any Graduate; MBA / PGDM preferred. Based in Panvel or open to relocating.
Experiences:
- Proven track record of LAP sales target achievement across multi-branch clusters
- Experience managing large DSA and channel partner ecosystems in NBFC/banking sector
- Strong understanding of credit policy, NPA management, and regulatory compliance in NBFC
- Demonstrated ability to build and motivate high-performance sales teams in financial services
Main Duties:
- Own P&L for the cluster; drive volume growth and maintain healthy portfolio quality.
- Conduct regular branch reviews, performance tracking, and team training sessions.
- Coordinate between branch operations, credit team, and senior management for seamless disbursals.
